I knew nothing about the Chiropractic profession. Due to an auto accident, my Mom had me see the Chiropractor she worked for. I was in college and the pain was limiting my ability to concentrate and study. After a few visits I was feeling much better.

Impressed by my positive results through Chiropractic, I left Slippery Rock and my pursuit of a teaching degree. I completed my required science courses at CCAC that summer. I enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic in September and started my life's journey.

My Chiropractor directed me to Sherman College. Sherman had the profession's best instructors. While at school I found the Anatomy and Physiology classes both tough and intriguing. Those classes showed me the wisdom and intelligence of the human body. My education taught me to look inside the body to find the cause of the patient's problem.

After determining your problem you get an accurate account of it's cause and your best solution. I enjoy giving patients tangible solutions to their predicament. We have the tools to help you be successful in your healthcare. A real joy is to watch a patient regain lost health through Chiropractic. My greatest thrill is to watch a patient take control of their health. Helping them get well quicker, and stay well longer is supremely gratifying!

I married my best friend Durelle 25 years ago. She works in the office as office manager and does insurance billing. I am blessed with 3 children, Lauren, Paul, and Dan. We are very active, and spend a lot of time outdoors. I have been a runner for 30 plus years, and have owned horses for over 20 years. My family and I live on a farm in Harmony, Butler County.

As a family we get our spines checked on a regular basis. My wife and I have incorporated running, nutrition, proper hydration, and adequate rest as a lifestyle. None of my children were immunized. The purpose was to keep their immune systems healthy and strong. We are a busy family that works hard to stay healthy.

Thanks for visiting our website! I look forward to meeting you and discussing how we may be of service to you. Give us a call and let us help you take that first step to health!

“What the heck is a chiropractor?” That was my reaction when my mom announced to the family that she was taking a job with a local chiropractor. I was 16 at the time and little did I know that her taking that job would decide my career choice and forever change my view of health and how the body functions.

I suffered from chronic tension and migraine headaches following a bad fall as a child. Medically I was told “learn to live with them.” Having seen patients benefit from chiropractic adjustments, my mom took me to the chiropractor to have my spine examined. He explained that I had misaligned several vertebrae in my neck resulting in pinched nerves. After a series of spinal adjustments, I have been headache free ever since. That experience led me to pursue a career in chiropractic.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I attended and received my doctor of chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. I chose Sherman College because of their focus on the chiropractic adjustment. From the first day of classes through graduation, there is a strong emphasis on teaching students to deliver a quality adjustment.

Getting relief from the headaches taught me that health comes from within. I tried drugs and they didn’t work. I think as a society we rely too much on drugs and surgery that have associated risks and side effects. There is a time and place for that but it should not be the first line of treatment when natural, conservative measures like chiropractic are available.

My wife Lori and I, along with our daughter Nicole, reside in Seven Fields. I was a charter member of the Cranberry Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Cranberry Jaycees. It is important to me to be involved in the community where I work and live. In my free time I enjoy music, playing one of my guitars, golf, attending Steeler games and spending time with my family.

Being a chiropractor is a very strenuous occupation. I depend on regular chiropractic adjustments as do my wife and daughter. I exercise regularly and lead a healthy lifestyle. I think as a doctor you need to practice what you preach and set a good example for your patients.

Today I look at the headaches as a blessing. They gave me the unique perspective of understanding what it is like to live in pain. They also led me to dedicate my life to helping others rediscover lost health through chiropractic. I have great empathy for people in pain and I know what it feels like to lose hope. I’m here to let you know that help is available. I look forward to meeting you.

The Doctor Asks some important questions of interest to Cranberry Township residents - Chiropractor Cranberry Township The Doctor Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Cranberry Township parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Cranberry Township chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
