Your Questions Answered

Many first time patients are skeptical and have questions or concerns about choosing chiropractic, such as:

  • What is causing my pain?

  • Can chiropractic help me?

  • How long will it take before I start to feel better?

  • Will I have to keep coming?

  • How much will it cost?

  • Will the treatments hurt?

We are here to address all of these issues.

No Surprises Here

Our experience has shown that a favorable response to chiropractic care always starts with a thorough history and examination. We allot one hour for the first visit. We want to make sure we have the ample time to really listen to our patients. Sometimes additional testing may be needed, like an x-ray. If additional tests are necessary, we will discuss this with you and explain any related costs. We always verify any insurance benefits before the first visit and you will know your out of pocket expenses before proceeding.

Depending on the circumstances, the doctors may elect to begin care on this visit. This will only occur with your consent and full understanding of what is to be expected.

Next, what to expect at your second chiropractic visit.

The Doctor Asks some important questions of interest to Cranberry Township residents - Chiropractor Cranberry Township The Doctor Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Cranberry Township parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Cranberry Township chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
